Default I bought a BOAT!! =) Do I need to bag this rig?

Well, after a few years of looking on and off, I've found and bought my first boat. After reaching my goals of 10's in the RST, i'm going to chill back a little and hit the lake with my lady friend on some of these sunny weekends. I pick the boat up next weekend!

That said, here's what I got. I'm currently rocking the RST ground control lowering kit, not sure what it is, but I think 1.8 front/ 4 or 5 rear. I do have 9 way struts on the rear. I have also removed my overload leaf but I still have them to reinstall if need be.

Option A) go pick the boat up (about 225 miles away) and see how it does.
Option B) reinstall the overload leafs and see how it does.
Option C) buy some load bags (http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/ai...0119_2167.aspx) and leave the heavy overload leafs off.

Ow, here's the new boat. Well new to me anyways. 21 Baja, with a little 7.4L 454.

Where are the pictures of the 454 and the electric trolling motor? Seriously I think your going to have to add a little height in the rear before towing that boat. Keep in mind that you will want the trailer to sit fairly level while towing so the boat tracks nice behind your truck.

Lol thanks man, I been forum whoring already on the Baja sites. It's a older 97 Baja with the Carb 454, little over 400 Hours on it. So it's not new, but I hope to get 2-3 years of light use with a few WOT in there to see if the old girl still has it. Then maybe look at a big HP swap.

That said, who knows man. This floater may be blown within a year. Lol, but it's not a Magnum version, so it's not forged. I'm thinking it is what it is, 454 with 9.6/1 compression. Runs on crap 87, sounds badass, has a little hit, but mostly a chill boat. Already has a full infinity setup and two kicker 12's. So it should do the trick as it sits, a weekend toy to have fun with.

It will def sound great with the captains choice exhaust. Those motors are tough as hell, we have them come through work regularly.

No need for overloads if you're going to run bags but I'd make sure you've got an adjustable hitch that will raise the ball up atleast 4" since you're is behind the pan.
