Check out SPEEDOMETER-SALES-AND-SERVICE on eBay. They upgraded mine to the SS cluster that has the tranny temp gauge, along with a bunch of other mechanical and programming updates. Lightning fast turnaround and friendly service.

Swap clusters (as mentioned), or buy an aftermarket gauge. It will come with a sender - screw it into the pressure port. Or you can get a weld bung, have it welded to the tranny pan and screw the sender into it.

You have 2 choices, unless new ones have come, the SSS or Denali clusters both have the 120mph/trans temp gauges. I think I paid ~$200? It was a while ago.

He has an '02, the SSS won't work, but Escalade or Denali will.

Snake, if running SSS / Esky / or Denali cluster, no mods or wires need to hook up to run trans temp gauge that comes on those clusters, right? It's just a plug & play I believe on SSS & the other 2. Correct me if I'm wrong.

But, if I were to go to an Autometer, ...any idea on weld bung size for pan? Cause I haven't decided which way i'll go yet either.

OP, if Trever1t says it's easy, it must be.
