How many would it take to fill a 4l60 and the converter. I am going to swap my converter.

ya, you'll need a case..... including the converter i believe it's 11. some transmission builders say to overfill the 700/4l60 by a quart. it helps keep it from starving under high volume situations. i guess if you overfill it, it'll foam and come out the breather.... so don't worry if you decide to add the extra quart ( i do, and i've noticed longer life) it'll come up the dipstick an extra like, 2 inches for some reason... it's weird, but it's right, and it seems to work. i've had good luck with b&m trickshift transmission fluid. it has friction modifiers and seems to work great with servo's and shift kits. And no, you dont need the sythetic 7 dollar a quart ****, the 3 dollar regular **** works in the 4l60e.... b&m doesn't advertise it.. but call them, it applies.
