Default Helper bags what is everyone using?

I think I have desided to jump on the kit for sale locally and lower my dually. It will be lowered 6-8 so I would like to get some helper bags for the back when I tow. Will regular bags work or do they have some for a lowered truck? Also how big of a pain is it to not have the on board compressor and just adjust manually?

i got these and installed them in about an hour and a half by myself and they work great for what i needed. i picked up a little air compressor from harbor freight for 25$ and it airs them up plenty fast. they are for trucks lowered 2-7 inches.

Do they help the truck's ride at all or are they just for getting the truck level when loaded? What I was thinking on my truck is it rides so rough in the back end was taking out some leaf springs from the pack. That should soften the springs and would hurt my payload and towing, enter the air bags to offset the amount of sag I would get with some of the leaves removed. Does anyone have any thoughts on that? What did you get to use as a manifold between the compressor you got from HF and the bags? Thanks for the help

it has definitely made the rear end a little stiffer. your supposed to keep 10 lbs. minimum psi and even at that it made the rear end less squishy, without raising the bed any. i just use them mostly to compensate for payload, i pull a 25 ft toy hauler and being lowered it would put the frame on the axle. i didn't use a manifold, the kit comes with the nylon tubing that has schrader valves in the end of them, i mounted them in the gas filler door. i just plug the compressor into the cig lighter and pop open the gas door and pump em up.
