Default help deciding on trans... upgrade/beefed 60e

ok heres the deal my truck has 90,xxx on stock motor and trans i just added the vette servo almost 3 weeks ago and i love it well here's the thing,i like my a4 trans and would love the a6 trans but do to time money and other things my best option would be to either buy a beefed up 60e or just rebuild my current with better parts. so far what i have read the main things that break/go bad in the 60e are the hard parts, well i have been pricing those and the prices aren't that bad. so should i just get the new better parts,hd2 new cooler and 3200 verter to go along with the servo. or cut time and buy and lvl2 from performa or flt. plz any help appericated

its real easy, and it will put way ahead of the game, if you plan to add power to it.

i understand that the 80e is the best swap, but its not straight forward like the 60e that comes in the 1500..some guys already have the 60e converter that cost close to a grand for..then they have to buy a flywheel, customize cross member, shorten driveshaft. then rewire for the 80e..its more work then some want to do..yeah, i eventually will do the swap..but it just seems like everyone wants to go straight to the 80e swap without giving some kind of answer for the 60e.

thats what im sayin, yes i understand the 80e is hands down the best but i know its some way to make the 60e a good contender at least.
