Default HELP!!!16" wheels don't fit

Well, just tried to fit up a set of 03 tahoe 16" wheels and they bind just a bit but on the front tie rod part of the spindle and on the caliper a bit. Does anyone know if spacers will help at all? Any ideas, definatly don't want to grind. Any help would be great.

That's why they went to 17"s in '05, to make room for the larger rotors and caliper. Dont think you can fit a 16" on there without some mod.

we'll guess I'll be envoking the lemon law on this thing since I've had it in for 3 trans issues and two power issues, I mean what the hell is gm thinking, no 16"s we all don't want to be hood rats with dubs and good luck finding some 285/70R17s. Pisses me off so much that they have such crappy brakes and they can't even fit 16"s on there. I'd be one thing if it stopped worth a damn but to have such crappy brakes and require 17"s that just incredable.

Which 15-16" wheels will fit the 05-06 6 lug 1500 Silverados?

Glad I didn't jump the gun. I figured they would all swap out

OK how about just on the rear? Surely someone has a track only tire/wheel combo that they are using.

I guess it's time to do some digging
