Backlash set at 9

What was the original Shim on the factory set up?

I feel like you need to go deeper to center it up and possibly tighten the back lash a little.

the original shim was .025 which is what this pattern was made with.
The coast side seems deep to me
and the drive side seems good
the backlash is set a .009

These are a little tight back off to .020 or even .015 to get your coast from being too deep.

give it a try try and see how it goes, I am a feel type person where I can tell by checking pattern and rotating forward and back to see how everything is meshing. I am doing this daily so it is hard to explain on type.
