G80 posi works on the street but not the track

'06 turbo silverado stock g80 10-bolt with aftermarket 4.11 gears.

For some reason at the drag strip my truck 9 times out of 10 spins 1 wheel. During the burnout both tires spin. The truck always takes off fine but around 30ft out when the turbo lights, it breaks traction and spins 1 wheel. I understand how the g80 works with the speed sensitive weight and all. The truck launches pretty soft so maybe 1 wheel provides plenty of traction but by the time the turbo kicks in I'm already doing 20+mph causing the g80 to disengage.
But, on the street it always spins both wheels even if I kick it down above 45mph..
Any ideas what my problem could be?

G80 is not a performance unit, its more for low speed traction in stuff like mud, ice, sand....anything loose. I had read some where that the G80 is useless above 25 or so mph, but that was on the internet so take that with a grain of salt, someone else might chime in and correct me... all in know is once i started doing performance stuff with my truck it was clear the G80 was not up to par.... best bet is to just replace it with your favorite posi unit before it grenades and takes everything in the diff with it.

Swap that G-80 out. Your days are numbered on that. I have seen stock trucks eat those
