Default floor shift conversion question.

As I was sitting at a light last night, I got ot thinking about my column shift. It really bothers me and I wish I could shift on the floor. Has anyone ever installed something like a B&M Quicksilver or some other kind of cable shifter? I know I would have to make a custom center console, but if someones already done it I'd like a few tips. If not, I guess I'll just have to do it and post up when I do.

I have a H2 shifter I've been dyin to put in my SS. I did notice that the factory column shifter is cable operated already. I have been doing other mods so I put that on hold for now. I'm gonna have to bite the bullet and dig in this summer.
