Default Flip my rear...........

Hey guys- as many of you know, I've tried Mcgaughy's 11004 kit, but I have welded on front hangers which appear to double as body mounts ruling that out of the question. However- next question, has anyone done the McGaughy Kit 93047? I understand that it's a rear kit offering 4 to 5 inches of drop. DIgging around I've found some folks do a flip kit that was 6" drop then did a 2" shackle lift for a 4" drop out back. Any advice/ input is priceless.
TIA

I'd recommend the DJM flip kit.

It has the ability to adjust the pinion angle, which,if you flip your axle, the pinion angle will need resetting.

Before I did my notch, I did the flip kit + 1in lift shackle. It worked out ok. Get good shocks.

Correct. Probably gonna need 4-5 degrees. Might be more.

Wow- is the average alignment shop sophisticated enough to do something like this or should I start searching out shims on my own...........

the DJM flip kit was the biggest piece of **** I've ever seen... I took it off after only 2 weeks and threw it in the trash to build my own kit. I wasn't even comfortable selling that new flip kit to another member to try and recoup my money.

I had no problem with their springs or hanger kits though.

Install the flip kit, take it for a drive, if there is any vibration measure your angles and go from there. Shims aren't always needed.

Just installed a Maxtrac flip kit on my 2017. No shims, no vibrations, 6" drop (it does 5 or 6). Was pretty easy. Getting old brackets off of the frame was the hardest part.
