What happens when you break a flex plate? Annoying noise until you change it?

Really loud chattering... Someone described it to me before as "having your bellhousing full of rocks" lol. I have never broken one (knock on wood) so i cant say for sure, but thats what i have been told...

Ah well as long as it doesn't break anything else with it I will just hold onto the stock one until it breaks.

I have heard of complaints of internal engine noise too. I have never actually heard it myself though.
