Default A Few Questions About DJM Drop Kit

I am looking at ordering the 2/4 DJM drop kit for my 2WD ECSB '03 Silverado (the kit with lowering SPRINGS for the front instead of drop spindles or LCA's). It is ok to run the stock shocks with the lowering springs on the front, or are aftermarket shocks important for proper performance? Also, will I have to modify anything else, like sway end links, to make everything work with this drop?

I was originally just going to put a 2" drop shackle kit on the rear to level it out and leave it alone, but if it's not too involved to go with the 2/4 drop with the new springs, I may just go ahead and do that.

I really like my eibach springs ride good and handle great.
Most rear setups are 2 inch shackles and drop hangers.

Are they Eibach Pro Kit springs? That's what I have on my Lexus and love them on there, but hated them on f-bodies for some reason. What shocks are you running (front or all the way around)?

I have 3" springs up front with stock shocks. It rides well, certainly no worse than stock.

Stock it fells all bouncy at higher speeds over over roads that aren't totally smooth. Do the springs help that a lot?

It's still somewhat bouncy, although my rear seems to bounce more. I have a flip kit and good shocks (Belltech SP), I think it's just the nature of a truck with a stock suspension setup. It is far more "planted" than it was stock though.

The Belltech stuff is BEEFY, no doubt about it. I've seen pics of cracked DJM stuff on here that scared me away.

Dang, good to know, lol. Well I think a 2/4 drop is good for me (as long as its nice and level). I'll look into a Bellatech rear drop kit, but what springs are good for the 2" front drop?
