good idea, I got under there this afternoon and i just said screw it for today...tomorrow I will put them on...I have the time then.

i got some.. its seems easy . a buddy told me it takes bout half an hour. my truck rides a lil stiffer. when i got it new( asks anybody with an 05) they ride spongy at first. now its stiffer. feels better on curves..the *** doesnt feel so light. i like the 2 inch drop fuctional yet lowered. check the sig.. here is a before pic

it is very easy to do unless you have a stepside. I had to cut the factory bolts out to remove them. I also had a little bit of vibration with just the shackle. It was not real bad, just a little at around 60-70. I just was not happy with just the shackle and ended up doing a 3/4.

Like said above about the hitch, it will be in the way of the lower bolt. The method above should work, but the way I did it was to remove the bolts from the bumper and then the 2 rear most bolts on both sides. Then I loosened the front bolts and let the hitch rest on a jack stand. This gave me the clearence I needed and allowed me to put it back easily.

On stepsides, like said its a little harder. It has been a while, but I do remember having problems getting the top bolt out. I loosened the u-bolts holding the axle to the leaf spring and then pulled the leaf spring away enough to get the top bolt out.
