sorry to say guys (again) that this will not be happening in the near future. Trust me...its been asked a million times. We/I are trying desperately. OEM 20" applications are helping the cause...but no one is really on top of it yet.

 

Dangit....which tire would you suggest going with in a "regular" radial? The KDWs? I'm needing new rear tires...I'm looking to get a 275-305 section width that's in the 27-28" tall neighborhood.

 

KDW will be about the stickiest truck size 20 youll find.

 

Thanks man. My problem is spinning from a roll...it likes to break the tire loose in the top of first gear. I'm sure an Eaton will help that, but tires never hurt either.

 

I would love to see a 20" dragradial. I love the looks of twenties on these trucks and the price of 20s are cheaper than 18s. Lots of guys are making a trade off of looks for functionality going with 18's just for the performance tire choices. I would look for Nitto to make one before anyone else but I really dont see the demand for one though. Look how long it took for them to come out with the 305/45/18.

 

Todd, I noticed that the BFG A/T is available in 20" wheel sizes now. I saw that when I was in the tire store getting my Hankook's.

 

i think big rims are bad as hell and all, but the idea is kinda retarded due to the weight factor....i don't care how light the rims are, smaller versions will be lighter and as all of us know....lighter=faster

and on the street they would just wear down fast as hell so??? :dunno:

 

My 20" Boyds w/ 255/35ZR20s weigh LESS than the chrome wheels and tires that originally came on the truck, and about the same as the aluminum rim/tire combo that's posted in the Tire/Wheel Weights thread.

I've heard all of the arguments about the weight being farther from the center of rotation, but my truck picked up a couple of tenths by getting rid of the heavy stock steel wheels and going to the 20s.

That, and I have been known to engage in some spirited highway driving every now and then. ET Streets won't help you on the highway.

 

Hate to argue with you on this one, i see you are in a state of confusion ....but have you ever looked at the Centerline forged 20's? Hell of a lot lighter than stock 16 inch wheels.

 

Which is why I'm getting rid of my 20's. Too heavy and I prefer the 18" wheels for looks, myself. About to order 18x8,18x10 Intro Pentia 6's. Leave the 18's on the front when i go to the track.
