Difference between 4WD and 2WD Rear Leaf Springs?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone knew if there was a difference between 2wd and 4wd leaf springs? The GM parts catalog does in fact list two different part #'s for 2wd vs 4wd leafs.

Yes I'm trying to get to the bottom of whether the 4wd leafs are stiffer / have a higher spring rate.

I thought the 4wd leafs had an additional leaf pack? 2wd were 2 leafs and an overload, and 4wd was 3 leafs and overload. but don't quote me on it.

Don't quote me on this but :)
1500s may have the same rate vs 2500HD and 3500HD will have a higher spring rate.

All I know is I would swap my 2014 2WD tow package springs for non-tow springs...I haul nothing but ass anyway! LOL
