Just curious??? Im thinking about the 80e swap, but being a lighter rcsb i may just ride a built 60e and see how far she goes. My question is did you you slow down at the track?? Pick up MPH? THanks

Can't say about the track times, but me and one of my buddy's race all the time, there was no difference before and after. I think sotp it feels better with the 80e. It's more like a jet now, just keeps pulling until you let off. The 60 has such a big gear split from 1-2, 80 doesn't have that problem. Also helps traction with the taller 1st gear.

For your application, I would do the 80. With 3.23's, your turbo is going to love second gear. Unfortunately I do not have any valid comparison from 60 to 80 as I never got the 60 to hold on teh current setup. I have no regrets what so ever about swapping to an 80 though.

Well I'm thinking 80 will be in my best interest ... if I kept it at the level it is now I would be ok with the 60e..but I have a built 6.0 ready and I think I would be pushing it. Thanks for the replies fellas.

Cant give fair ET comparison cause i changed cam about the same time i did the 80e, But traction is way better due to 80e first gear and ZERO wheel hop now.

1st gear 4l60e was worthless with my combo. And the 80e shifts sooo much better.
