does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 4l60e MLPS "manual lever position switch" please and thank you

Do you mean the switch that slides on the gear selector shaft? If so, that is a neutral safety switch. If it starts in park, and neutral then you have it installed properly. Unfortunately I can't help you on what color wire goes to what.

yeah its function is a neutral safety switch but from the research i did yesterday, atleast for my truck, they are called a manual lever position switch, but anyways, i recently pulled my tranny and rebuild it and i couldnt get the plugs out of the MLPS and accidentally broke it, so i got another from the junkyard and replaced it by sodering the wires, and it doesnt start so im assuming that i miss wired it
