Crown Suspension Components

Hey guys, browsing the internet looking for various options to lower my 02 rcsb and came accross Crown Suspension. Their prices look competitive and it says the components are cut and welded in the USA. Do any of you guys have experience running their products? Good or bad?

Also, I'm thinking of doing a flip with a c-notch and new perches in the back so for the front I was thinking 3 inch coils may get me there but I can always add a 1" lift shackle if the 6" out back is too much. What do you guys think about running drop coils to get all 3 inches? I want to stay away from LCAs I think so the only other alternative would be 2" drop spindles and 1" drop springs to achieve the 3" correct? However, this is a much more expensive option than just the coils but is it a better way to go?

Just looking for some advice since this will be my first time droping a truck. Thanks guys.

a lot of people here in south texas run crown suspension, I personally havent had any sort of experience with it. If you are going to spend the money on a 3/6 might as well just get a 3/5 drop kit from djm if you dont want better quality material. if you want a little lower just go with a 4/6.

My old roomate got his truck dropped with "crown suspension" and it was supposed to be a 5/7 on an nnbs and it looked more like a 3/6

I would prefer to not go with DJM as I have read and researched that their notches are not the best. I couldn't find much info on Crown when I searched though.

What components did your budy use to lower his truck?

he bought the kit from a recognized shop here in south texas. They do all their work with crown. I dont know too much info on drop but I do know they, used spindles and a flip kit in the back. What im guessing is that they used 2 in drop springs instead of a 3 inch spring or a 2 inch spindle instead of a 3 inch spindle. as far as the notch im no too sure on that. I have heard that it is better to bolt your notch than to weld it, is it true? i really dont know.

I am not sure about the bolting or welding of the notch but I have read that many people preffer Mcgaughys or Belltech notches over DJM due to quality.

Anyone else have any expereience with Crown? I think I may give them a try if there is no more input.......
