Converter won't seat onto input shaft..
So I bought a coan triple disk converter for my 4l80e. If I leave the oring on the input shaft I can't get the converter to seat all the way in.. I've tried and tried.
remove the oring and it goes right in, however I believe it has to be there.
any help is appreciated....
This is the inside of the coan converter

I found that when compared to a stock input shaft the groove for the o ring was too small this stretching it out and making the outside diameter larger than the stock o ring on the stock input shaft. I ended up using one that's a **** hair thinner than what was supplied and it worked beautifully.
