Default 2005 AWD - Front and rear gears interchangable?

Kind of a newbie question but I am swapping over to a 4L80e and am thinking about picking up some 3.42's from the for sale section (currently running 4.11's). I've got a ton of bottom end torque (I hit 10lbs's at 2500 rpm) and I would like to drop my RPM's on the highway (I commute daily with the truck). I've also read that the turbo's load up even faster with taller gears. I was considering 3.73's but it's such a small drop that I didn't think it would be cost effective.

I run into a bunch of single sets but haven't had any luck finding someone with a pair of 3.42's for sale. Are all the OEM's gear sets (other than 14 bolt sets) interchangable? I don't want to pick up to seperate sets only to find out that I need a different set for the front differential.

thanks, Rick

Front sets are different. Rear are 8.6 and front are something like 7.25.

Fronts are 8.25, rear is 8.5 or 8.6.

Pm me about you gears, I may have some you would be interested in out of my Z71, so you would have the correct front and rear sets...

I knew that would just be WAY too easy for them to be the same.

Thanks, Rick
