They make the kit with or without hangers, you just have to get the right part # from calvert .

Your using hangers right? I just saw a guy in the for-sale threads wanting to trade someone his lowering hangers for some stock hangers because they wouldn't work with his caltracs.

Calvert does make a drop hanger or they will modify your hanger to fit with the Caltracs. I run DJM 2" lower hangers with my caltracs.

i have mcgaughy hangers with two positions , iirc i had to use the higher setting or the bottom hole on the hanger in order to use them . this was a while back though and i did it becasue i only wanted a 3" rear drop and used a 2" shackle . i previously had it set the opposite way before and had a bad pinion angle . i want to drop it a bit more and will find out what it takes to make them go in the lower setting.

i know most hangers only have one setting , 2" and thats why most will work fine.
