#81
On the A4 to M6 swap thread, vanilagorilla fabbed a small tab with two threaded holes that the auto trucks lack. First post..a few pictures down will explain it.

I will definitely be waiting for that! Has anyone figured out if the clutch needs to be shimmed or did an adjustable slave rod fix the low pedal grab issue?

The tab sits inside the stamped rectangular box to the right of the slave hole in the firewall in picture #1 ... the two firewall bolts thread into it.
AFAIK GM does not sell that piece anymore.

That fabbed mounting location bracket would have been nice to have. I pulled the entire brake booster reinforcement bracket and welded two nuts to the back.
I am working on looking into the low pedal issue. I checked into shimming but only after i had already installed the tranny and realised there might be an issue. it doesn't look like a shim should be needed but I didnt go through the steps of measuring as i was not aware of the correct steps and didnt' think it would be needed on a factory set up. If you search for the tick performance SC shims it tells you how to determine if a shim is needed. If someone would volunteer that would be awesome but I dont feel like pulling a 200 lb tranny for fun. Tick said the shims were compatible IF needed btw.
GM does still sell a MC with a longer pushrod. I plan on installing this to test it at the same time as I install the atomic bracket. I got the part in the mail a couple of days ago. GM 24242325 The only thing that is different is the pushrod so it might be worth it to just mod an existing rod instead of buying new set up.
