? for BFG AT KO owners

Is anybody else having noise and vibration problems with these tires.

I've been having a vibration in the steering wheel (on left turns only) for a while now. Last year I had the RH wheel hub/bearing replaced under warranty for this problem, it didn't seem to help. This spring I replaced the LH hub, still no change (it did fix the rumble, rumble noise at low speed). Today I took the RH hub off to see if it was bad again, but its ok.

So anyways, I thought back, and eveytime I rotated the tires, it would get worse, but it only does it turning left. So I put my spare tire on the RF, and the vibration is gone. I can't figure out why it only does it the one way, I've balanced the tires, and rotated them all different ways.

I use to like these tires, the tractson is great, and they look good, but there noisy, and ride rough. The tires are 1.5 years old, 40000-50000 kms. Tread is 60-80%.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it but my BFG's are rotational. If you mounted one to rotate the wrong way that would probably cause a problem and tire damage and a blow out eventually. When I was first mounting mine I put one on wrong, a guy walked by and pointed it out. Easy mistake to make if youre in a hurry.

I have been noticing a little more noise with my BFG's than I used to (humming at about 35-50mph)...I also noticed that the sidewall on one of em is starting to ripple a little bit. As far as vibration goes, mine definitely need a good roadforce balance, it vibrates between 65-75mph...although I had the same issue with the Firestone's that came on it (had em all roadforce balanced and it was smooth as butter)

Sweet truck BTW!

Had my 22" BFG's force balanced and they were much smoother, the 24" BFG's were balanced the old fashioned way and I haven't had any problems. Every tire is different I guess.

I got 55k+ miles on the first set with no prob. (285's),working on the 2nd set (265's) w/ about 10k mi. currently.
No tire problems, but I have had my "steering shaft" replaced (twice), and greased a couple of times by the dealer.

Good tires IMO I had mud terrains on before my goodyears and loved them never had a problem with balancing them. To me it sounds like you may have a bulge in one of the tires I have never had a problem like you are tlaking about.
