Best drop combination with Caltracs

I ran urethane bushings strictly from an articulation stand point... Aluminum bushings don't allow the leafs to articulate nicely, you're relying entirely on the shackle to do the flexing. This is a daily driven truck so handling is a key concern with me. As far as aluminum bushings for ride quality, no need to worry when you're rollin' on Kings. In all seriousness, an aluminum front bushing won't hurt ride quality, not enough to notice anyway.

i took off a shackle hanger setup for a flip kit and feel like i gained in the performance and ride dept.

mine was 2 aluminum pieces so they could articulate. not sure if calvert might have changed things.

Thanks for the input everyone. Just to clarify a flip kit with cal-tracs would be best for performance. What about shocks?

If money is not an issue go with QA1's, and if not go with Belltech Street performers shocks is what everyone else is using IRC.

Do the QA1's bolt up in the stock location or do brackets have to be fabbed in??

There is a set of QA1's that bolt right up, however the sharp angle they're at after the drop doesn't allow for the best performance. They need to be perpendicular to the ground, especially for a drag race setup, so that means custom mounts.

Thanks man, also does anyone know the caltrac part # everyone is running with a flip kit, i looked on there website and they offer 2 different sets but dont say which is which.
