I’m gonna swap the 65 for an 80 in my SSS. Im putting in a fully forged 370 with a 76mm turbo. The 65 just isn’t gonna hold much from that. So I bought a rebuilt stock 80. My thought is to do the swap, get everything working this year, and next year drop the money on a level 5 trans. My question is, without digging in too deep, is the HD2 shift kit about the only thing I can do to this trans? In stock form it’s gonna hold way more than the 65 I’ve got in there now. And I’m not looking to build this 80 a whole lot since I’ll buy a professionally built 80 next year. But the shift kit is inexpensive and makes sense to put in. Anything else that’s in the same upgrade category?
