Holy freaking easy rebuild-access case design! 
Thats a great idea, is that a new feature they are going to incorporate into the 4L75E? The trans goes 
when it wants to be rebuilt! Makes clutch and steel inspection a breeze! 
Really, that sucks, hope you get that taken care of.

I was looking at the low/reverse input drum. 
Haven't seen a sunshell do that much damage. But, combined with input drum break, that would surely shatter the case with binding internal parts. 
That is SURELY THE MOST impressive trans carnage pics I've seen!
