6L80 to 6L90 Swap

I would like feed back from ones that have swapped from 6l80 transmission to the 6l90. I'm looking at one from a 2007*Chevy Silverado*K2500HD 4wd. This will be going into my 2011 Escalade AWD. What is needed for the swap?

You will have to change the TCM to a 2010+ unit.

They use the same cross member, but with the 90 being longer do you need longer front and shorter rear shafts then? Any other changes? I am leaning towards doing this myself.

Apparently there is a new TCM out there that is compatible with all programming from 07-15. So run the TCM through your parts department first before spending money to get a new one.
