Well the verdict is a lug broke off of the case.
The reason it was slipping was a piece of it got down in the valve body and plugged up the 2nd piston so I burned up the clutches. Damn the luck, had to find a doner case.
This had to have been a casting defect or something. Nobody I talked too heard of the case busting like that, not even the guys at Hughes...
Should be roasting tires again lat Mon.
