So Basically Its Not A Very Tough Swap As Long As You Get The Right Adapters,i Wasnt Planning On Going Into The Tranny But I Will If Neccessarythe Reason Why Im Getting The 2wd Version In Stead Of The 4wd Is Price, I Am Getting A Working 4l80e And A 14 Bolt Out Of The Same 97 2500 2wd Chevy For Dirt Cheap. And My Buddys Getting The Vortec 350. So I Didnt Wana Pass Up The Deal. I Might Not Even Swap It In Right Now, My Built 60e Is Doing Great Right Now.

It's not a tough swap, but it is a pain in the *** tracking down all of the misc. parts and the trans segment rewrite is only done by a few guys...Very doable but plan on the truck being down for about a month because something is bound to hold you up...
