4l80e harness swap to 4l60e possible?
Good morning PT,
Few questions i have recently installed a 2006 5.3l/60e with matching PCM into a 84C10 ok.
But the wiring harness i used was out of a 2006 2500 lq4/80e, the truck turns on turnkey no problems and can even drive up/down my backyard. But the transmission isnt right, i know the 60e harness has different pins you usually switch positions when doing a 80e(i.e. Pins 22/23)swap.
So my question is, do i do the opposite since i have the 80e harness swaping to a 60e tranny? Or can i just get it tuned?

That's what I would do, it would be reverse of doing a 60e to 80e swap.
