4l80e harness/ solenoid install

I just ordered a 4l80e updated harness and new 5pc solenoid kit. Is it pretty straight forward to install and also do I need any special torx bits to remove them? My harness is leaking at the plug and I also believe some solenoids are sticking because sometimes it takes a long as time to shift and it drops out of TCC and gear sometimes. Like yesterday I was on the highway monitoring the Cluster with the torque app which also reads off DTC errors while the engine is running. I was about up to 80mph and the trans dropped out of gear and the torque app read off a P0753 which is solenoid A 1-2 shift. Granted it could be that the terminals are getting wet with fluid which could be the cause of my shift issues but I highly doubt it because it would have threw all solenoid codes if pin had been shorted out by tranny fluid. It is a used 1995 4l80e but its been very responsive in all gears. Then it starts to shift late. Then most times its fine. Will I notice a big difference with the shift solenoids? I ordered this

I can tell you solenoid a and b are cake, will take you only a couple minutes each. I didn't replace the EPC the one right next to it so can't tell you on those.
