I'm not SD but I changed mine like the op and it worked for me.
But it still unlocks when you ease up on the gas cruising down the interstate...lock...unlock...lock...unlock f*ckin annoying!

Yup, the dreaded low throttle unlock issue with the 80's. Evidently it is something in the base code of the 80 controller that does it. There has been a thread about it on HPT for a couple years now but no one that is smart enough to fix it cares to. It will be a happy day when someone comes up with a solution for it.

Like I said, lock-unlock problem doesn't affect me at cruise. Here is my latest tune but beware, this is a rookie tune and there might be some things you don't like in it. Works for me, though.

i was on my phone and subscribed so i could get back to it when i had my laptop. it didnt work for me lol. it wouldnt lock up at all when i did it.
