4L80E AWD help
#1
I know this has been covered a few different ways several times, but I have another possible way with questions.
I have a 2003 Yukon Denali with the bw4481 case. What I am considering is the bw4485 mechanical case from the gmt900 Escalade. From what I gather it is mechanical with no plugs for any wires. So to get the rear vss, another guy put the rear of the bw4481 on and made a hybrid. Instead of that, I'm thinking a 2wd 4l80e with shaft cut down, and use the rear vss of the 4l80e.
I'm not interested in discussing why cutting down the 2wd shaft will or won't work, as I have 1 already done that way and working great. Also, the bw4485 from a 6l80e is 32 spline and will bolt up to the 4l80e adapter perfectly.
My question is strictly computer wise, will the rear vss of the 2wd 4l80e suffice when used with the bw4485 case?
Thank you in advance for anyone willing to answer!
