Default 4l70e TBSS no 4th gear till warmed up

Hello, I have a fresh rebuilt 4l70 in my TBSS, everything worked fine after the rebuild, but after a month I started having issues. When first started it will not shift into 4th. Once warm it will shift into 4th every time. Also while logging it in hp tuners it seems that 4th isn't even being commanded in the computer. I replaced fluid pressure switch, all solonoids were new with the rebuild. Just changed the neutral safety switch. What am I over looking?

GM does stop 4th gear from happening if the transmission fluid temp is under a certain temp. On my 06 Sierra with the 4L60e is was anything under like 60-65 degree transmission temp. Once it got warmer than, it would drop into forth gear everytime. In the winter time is was very noticeable.

Even my 2012 Silverado with the 6L80e prevent 6th gear if the temp is too cold.

Not sure if that is your exact issue though.

That makes sense, but it has never done it before. So that's weird. Sometimes I can drive 10 or more miles before it'll use 4th.

Is it not going into 4th or not locking the converter? My blazer doesnt lock the torque converter until it hits a set temperature, with the aftermarket cooler i have on it cold months would take a while.

did u change the internal harness? I think the temp sensor is built into it or something like that.

Can I do that with no tuners? If your talking about the harness you see when you remove the fluid pan, then yes, I changed that, the pressure sensor and all shift solenoids
