4l60e Trans temp sensor

I'd like to figure out where to install the sensor for my Trans temp gauge? It's a glowshift gauge if that helps?

I would just tap it into the pan. Just make sure to clean up all your shavings really well.

Not a noob question. Located on the drivers side above the shift linkage crap. There's a 11mm plug you'll have to pull out and the new sensor should thread in. Mine was 1/8"npt x 1" long and works fine.
