Default 4L60e shift kit

Hi guys, can someone tell me about their experiences or knowledge, is it good to install a shift kit on a 4l60e? Removing a good tune improves the performance of the trans mechanically? or is it something that is not necessary?

Sonnax 77911-03K ($81.79) and 77767K ($62.79) is all I can speak of. Get 'em from Rockauto.com, google "rockauto coupon" for your 5% off. This way you won't have to drop the pain. These make for a firm shift in a stock trans and also the things stopped slipping under full throttle in my Avalanche.

Typically, anything that will increase pressure or shift speed in these is good.
