Default 4L60E Converters

Question;
Are the 4L60E converters used in, say an '01-02 truck, the same converters used in the late 4th-gen LSx-based F-Body 4L60E's?

Looking at buying an SS3600 from someone that was in a truck, & simply need to be assured they are the same.
When you look around on Yank's website, & if you choose converters & add them to your 'basket', they don't list the parts numbers for comparison.

So I have no way of knowing, unless I simply ask, ..., so go easy on me, ...

I believe so. I know a trailblazer converter works in trucks. And I've heard they work in fbodies as well. So I think they're the same.

They fit yes, but truck converters are designed to be slightly tighter because of their added weight. I'm sure that converter would be great in your truck.

It doesn't happen to be coming out of an orange single cab does it...

Yes, all 4L60/65/70 LS based converters are interchangeable. Truck or car. The only one that is special is for the Corvette, special bolt pattern because it is rear mount.
