You can get a 3000-3200 thats rated to tow with.
Ive used this in several trucks with cams and they tow car haulers.
The tune needs to be setup correctly.

Cool. I had no ideal that a converter like that could tow 5000 pounds.

Can you elaborate a little b it on setup ?
Presume you Lock 3rd gear early, and STAY locked late for Tow-Haul mode ?
How about overdrive ? What shift speed-split/ vs lockup strategy do you use to mitigate monster rpm FLARE when unlocking in OD ?

Datalog TCC slip and program accordingly.
Not necessarily locking the TCC early. Just not trying to lock the converter when its at max slip then bogging engine.
Its a fine balance and takes a little while to get it just right.
Id rather downshift to 3rd and lock instead of unlocked 4th.
