Default 4l60e to 4l80e driveshaft

Hello just looking for some clarification about some things.
The truck is a 2003 rcsb 2wd gmc with 4.8
will the stock drive shaft work with the swap? Have heard all that’s needed is to put a different u-joint and yoke and it will bolt right back in?

Yes. I used a yoke from a 2500 express van. (98 or 99 I think) The part # for the u joint was 447.
