The brake pedal switch is a two stage switch, it has a NC and NO outputs. So if the switch goes bad you can get an open on the TCC circuit but not a closed on the lighting circuit.
Makes sense. Thanks guys for all the replies. It's been fine the past two days, 77 degree weather with ungodly amount of humidity. Gotta love Lousyana. So, we will push on. If something is going bad hopefully it'll last another week, finals week with no truck and school being 30 miles away, yikes! I am picking up a 4l60e from a buddy tomorrow to pull apart just to see how complicated these transmissions actually are.
