Like Dirt track said about the gear comparo with the 6 speed.... Do you have an automatic or 5 speed. If automatic a stall would be needed and if 5 speed (they have either a 3.82 or 4.02 first gear) then your gear doesn't need to go to extreme. with a 5 speed I go no more than a 4.30 or 4.56, if an automatic no more than a 4.56 or 4.30.

The tr224 would be a very aggressive cam for a 4.8; but so would the 5.13's. It would be an agressive idle but you would also have to have the stall and/or gear for it.
Not to mention lots of custom tuning.

do you have an automatic or 5 speed? and what year? Makes a big difference on gear and cam selections.
