35x14.50 on Yukon w/6" Lift?
#1
I have an '02 Yukon 2WD and I'm looking to put on the pro-comp 2wd 6" lift on it and run 35x14.50 nitto mud grapplers on 16x10" rims. Can this be done? All the shops I've spoken to don't think it's a go, but they tend to be conservative because of liability reasons....this truck will be a street car 98% of the time.....thanks for your input....

You should be able to run 35x14.50's with a 6" lift. I ran 35x12.50 Yokahama Geolander MT's on a Yukon XL. You have to trim a little off of the plastic valance and a little off of the plastic fenderwell. The only thing I would worry about is running a 14.5" tire on a 10" wheel. If the mfg says it's ok, then I guess you are golden.

Ya know, Id check on of fullsizechevy.com, somthing is sticking in my mind that u cant run as big of tires on the 2wd with x amount of lift as a 4x4 since the 4x4 starts out higher. therefor 6" on a 4x4 would be like 8" on a 2wd.

I say go for it. You can always crank up the torsion bars if needed. If you're unsure though, call Pro Comp or whoever makes the lift you want. They should be able to tell you what fits/what hits.
