28 degree timing, 0 knock retard, fuel was 110 vp, 13 to 1 AFR, DA was +724, it was the seasons first test and tune so track prep was none existant. 1.83 60 ft no spinning.

if all of that is correct and now just what ed is telling you, i'd say we could narrow the issue down to your 60' not bein up to par

Is your timing 28 across the board or does it vary? The way I was told by a pro tuner, was to have the timing up down low, bring it down at peak cylinder pressure and then take it up from there. I.E. around 27 at peak torque making its way up to 29-30 over 6000.

AFR looks to be good if you're running pure gasoline. You might even try varying that based on RPM as well, richer at peak pressure and then leaner from there on up. The pumps here have 10% ethanol, mine seems to run best around 12.5:1.

I just read the timing and KR off my current tune, and the AFR is off my graph.

It varies as low as 26 around 4000 rpm then back up to 28 from 6000 on.
I'm not a tuning god.

why were you running 110 octane?

to be a little safer on the spray later that night. I have no cats and It about all I can get thats better then 91. I have an LQ4 with .020" milled off 243's and a .040" cometic gasket so its right about 11 to 1.

How about a call to Dave to see what he says about a stall change. Really when it comes down to it the PT series is a big converter really made for towing/ FI setups...a slightly looser SC3000. I'd be curious to see what he'd say you'd gain by going to a SS4000.

with the heads you have and assuming your cam is fairly healty, you're probably making close to 400rwhp, or should be...something isn't right brotha. i can see narrowing it down to your 60' times if your mph was higher. but with the 60' you have, that mph is pretty much dead on for the et.

for instance, black04silverado or what ever, has a stock lq4 with a 230s duration cam, stock 317 heads, 3600 verter and 4.10s and run 13.10 @102...and even his tune wasn't spot on supposedly
