Default 265/70/17 for great street manners

I lowered my 08 crew cab 2wd with the belltech performance handling kit. I love the stance and handling now it’s lowered 1.5 in the front plus the inch involved in the coil over and 3” in the rear the rear leaf spring axle is weird and I am thinking about some hangers to level the spring and maybe get the rear closer drop wise to the front. The rear still is roughly 1.5 inches higher but I f need be I still can lower the spring seat to get a slight rake.

the real issue is what tire shall I get for the 265/70/17 for all around street handling? a different rim (20) isn’t a reality right now just want a great street tire

Thanks!

I run slightly shorter 17 in tire, roughly 30 in tall. I’m running a 275/60R17 in the Toyo Proxy. Only been running them for about 1000 miles but they seem to handle well. There’s not many options of a performance tire in a 265/70r17

Thanks! I’m going to try a BFGoodrich Advantage T/A Sport LT Tire
