Default 2014+ 12-Bolt Strength
Hey guys, anyone have any feedback on the strength of a 2014+ 12-bolt? Couldn't help but notice they made the shift for all 2014's and newer. I'd imagine they're a good deal stronger than an 8.6 10-bolt? And even an 8.6 10-bolt is super strong with a TruTrac and axles.

Good so far, have swapped yukon axles (was bent from wreck), and just installed mew b&m cover holds like 3.5 qts now while looking pretty trick.

Does it still have a 8.75 ring gear setup ?
like the old 12 bolt rears ?

No, they are 9.5" (5.3L motor) or 9.76" (6.2L motor)

The current 12 bolt is basically a new version of the 9.5" 14 bolt.
