Default 2008 4L80E-should I install tansgo HD or not?

I just purchased a fairly low mile 4L80E from a 2008 express Van. I'm planning on installing it in my 07 TBSS. Should I install a transgo HD shift kit? If so does anyone have a part number, the ones I keep finding stat
1991-2001. Thanks

It would help you out if you have big power plans.

If you do not plan on taking it apart then I would at least do the shift kit.

Does anyone have the correct part number? Only one I could find is
TRG-4L80E-HD2 on summit and other vendors. But it states that its only for 91-01 4L80s.

That's the right number, I used it on my 03' without issue.

Also what power levels are these stock 4L80s good to?

Lots of power. Depending on how well it was built, 700hp is feasible on a stock 80e. After that the shafts need upgrades.

A shift kit in an 80e blows away a 60e shift kit. I am chirping the tires on stock 80e line pressures.

My cousin runs a stock 80e with shift kit. And has a cammed 6.0 fbo's with a 200 shot and still beating on it.
