4. LITERALLY BOLT EVERYTHING TOGETHER!!
5. Prawwwwfittttt!

No fabrication needed.
I do recall that.

How ever where I am located most of the brake components are typically missing at the pull it yourself yards. Steering boxes for the 2500 are also typically missing as well. I believe the core buyers are getting first dibs. Not to mention they like to over charge when the parts are there despite the word "complete" in the parts description. complete disc to disc or complete drum to drum.

Wow. They take the brake backing plates too??? That is really all you need as that would allow to use the 2500 calipers, 6 lug rotors, and parking brake.

Sometimes they do. Or there all beat up from them being dragged across the asphalt. It's hard to get clean body panels for the same reason. They are careless and run the fork lifts into them or push 1 car into another when shuffling them around to make room.

Good Door panels are near impossible to find as well. The Yard monkeys that frequent the yards daily, rip them off to get the window motor, the speakers, or the power window switch...

The individuals may not have much money and may not have the best job or even be legally employed. They also may not know any better...

These same type of individuals will pull the third member, the bearings, the caps and bolts but leave the pinion gear behind...

Or pull the window motor and remove the cable but leave the track behind...

shoot... even when i was a broke college kid (and subsequently unemployed for a year), i didn't waste my time or cash on that trash... sad it took 'til this summer, though, to get around to it

i did, however, contemplate trying to find a 6lug 14bolt diff a while back. now it's nice to know i can make my own!
