Nice work man. What would be a fair price for one of these axles right now? I have one that I won't be able to use. It has the 4:10 posi from the factory with 65k miles.

Thanks FastBrick those brake flanges worked great. Here is a bunch of pictures of me getting it painted. I ran into 2 problems when getting ready to install it. I didn't need a new U joint my 06 silverado came factory equipped with a 1350 u joint. I found this out after I pressed my old u joint out lol. I also bought the ruffstuff simple swap kit but I forgot about my 6" lift block. The ruffstuff bolts are only 10 inches long =(. So new 5/8 x 3.0 x 16 bolts are on order.

Awesome thread. Very impressed. Used to live right by LRAFB. Darn those Southern snowstorms.

Thank you sir, First test run I thought my truck was going to break down. Turns out my axles weren't even close to being ground down enough. The rotors were wobbling and grinding the caliper bracket. It sounded terrible. You have to grind down the axles for a while like atomic said 30 min per axle. Check, double check, and then check again.
