Default Silverado vs Lightning

So theres a 2001 lightning that my friends want me to play. I recently played a 2015 Challenger R/T and I left him a truck and a 1/2 behind. How fast are those 2001 Lightnings? It has some bolt ons, but thats all I know.

Play? You mean race?

Lightnings are pretty slow unless you put a bunch of money into them.

Lightnings are typically about as fast as they are going to be straight from the factory. Seems like the bolt on guys don't run much faster. Some guys do drop some serious serious coin going the turbo route and whatnot.

Eh ill beg to differ for these comments

Dollar for dollar my ford was faster then my silverado even when was a 6.0 swap....now when its time to surpass 440-450 rwhp is when **** adds up but a 450rwhp ford will go 11s in right hands without hige weight loss

Stock it ran low 13s on 18" street tires....isnt 1 silverado doing that

Problem is they dont roll race well...cant take load going into 4th gear....so from a dig he gonna **** your *** up if has anything done and has someone who has a clue behind laptop
