The issue with drag radials and rain is the oil the seeps up from the roads

20" drag radial is like pissing in the wind, they were meant for new camaros and challengers.....not for trucks with power

what about a stock 17" chevy silverado wheel with mickey thompson et street radial? would the wall be a big improvement over a 20" wheel?

edit: for a stock suspension 2005 singlecab turbotruck with lets say 500rwhp

Everything you've mentioned is a compromise until you swap to a 15" wheel/tire combination.

if you want a tire that hooks on the street get a e.t. street tire. but other than that i say the Nt05R is a really good alternative for that size since an e.t. street isn't that big.

I run the nt05r and they are ok for dry traction and in the rain they good too.

agreed they were the worst tires for traction to me. my e.t. streets i have now i have put more miles on than the NT05R's and they still hook up GREAT.

Are you talking about the bias ply or radials?
